Making Sense of the Avalanche Advisory

I’ve been teaching AIARE avalanche classes for a long time, about 20 years. I want to help people make sense of the avalanche advisory so you can make better plans, better decisions and ultimately have trips that are safer and more fun. 
I believe there’s a subtle tweak we can perform in how we read the avalanche advisory that will help us make sense of what the avalanche forecasters are telling us, and help us make better plans for our days on the snow.
