Backcountry Ski and Splitboard Rentals for Lassen National Park
You can rent backcountry ski and splitboards for trips to Lassen National Park!
We’ve guided backcountry ski and snowboard trips and teaching AIARE avalanche classes in Lassen National Park for over 20 years. Lassen is an amazing place to visit in winter, with one big challenge- there are no rental shops nearby. There is no convenient place to rent backcountry skis, splitboards or avalanche gear.
We have solved that problem! The Outdoor Adventure Club is now the source to rent backcountry splitboards, skis and avalanche gear in Lassen. We’ll have that rental gear for you at our cabin in the town of Mineral.
Reach out to us if you want to arrange a ski rental for Lassen. Supplies are limited and we may need to move inventory to Lassen, so advance planning is suggested. The process is different if you’re renting avalanche gear and/or a splitboard vs. renting a ski setup. Please reach out with a call or email to discuss your rental needs before following the instructions below.

We can help you with your gear rental needs If you’re registered for one of our trips, either public or private. We can also help with your rentals if you are staying in our house in Mineral. You can rent splitboards and avalanche gear through us or our friends at Splitboard.Rentals. You can rent backcountry AT ski packages from our friends at The Backcountry.com. Reach out to us before making any rental order so we can confirm we’ll be able to take care of your rental. We’ll also walk you through the rental process.

Rent skis through The Backcountry. Please only select ‘Alpine Touring Ski Package”, “Alpine Touring Skis & Skins Package” or “Alpine Touring Boots”. No other products from their inventory are available. You need to note that you are with The Outdoor Adventure Club/Lassen When you rent from The Backcountry to make sure we get your order.
