Go backcountry skiing in Lassen Volcanic National Park and stay in the OAC Cabin in Mineral.
When space is available, we make our Lassen house available to individuals who would like a place to stay while visiting Lassen. Our house is in the town of Mineral. It’s the ideal location for backcountry ski and snowshoe trips originating from the Kohm Yah-mah-nee Visitor Center in Lassen National Park.
You can spend your days exploring Lassen and meet/socialize with other backcountry skiers and snowshoers at the house in the evenings.
Our Lassen Mineral Cabin has 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, and is shared. There are 3 queen beds and 7 twins. Beds/rooms are assigned to provide the optimal fit for everyone who is staying in the house. You’ll get a bed in one of the shared bedrooms. If you’ll be coming with a friend, Let us know if you’d prefer to share a bed, share a room, or sleep in separate rooms

Our driveway is large enough to accommodate everyone staying at the house.
Please be courteous of others in the house. We’ll be cleaning up after your stay, but we won’t be following you after your shower to clean the bathroom. Please make sure you leave the shared spaces as you’d like to find them.
Directions to the house will be provided with your confirmation.
Pricing for Lassen Cabin stays: $60/night/person, $120/person minimum
- 1 night: $120 per person, total
- 2 nights: $120 per person, total
- 3 nights: $180 per person, total
- 4 nights: $240 per person, total
