Halloween Hiking, Camping, and Costume Contest in Pinnacles
October 29-31

Are you ready for a killer Halloween? Join us in Pinnacles National Monument, the home to 14 species of bats as well as wild pigs! We thought this was the perfect place to celebrate The Day of the Dead, so we reserved a group site, and came up with some haunting ideas for a ghoulish night.

During the day boys and ghouls will go hiking through the park with the professional guides of the OAC. During the evenings, as the sun goes down and the wild animals come out, we will begin the festivities. On Saturday night, we will have a costume contest, bob for apples, play glow in the dark volleyball, tell spooky stories, and enjoy wonderful company around the fire.

**Just added**
Pinnacles is now open 24 hours a day which will allow us to take a nighttime hike through the caves in hopes of seeing bats as they venture out to feed! This is going to be a fun weekend, for sure! Bring your friends, family, co-workers, and favorite games, activities, glow-in-the-dark-paraphernalia, and beverages.

Camping information:
The camping at Pinnacles is fun. There are coin-op hot showers and running water, and we'll be camping close to the cars. Bring your pillows, blankets, camp chairs, and anything else that makes your camping experience comfortable.

We've reserved a group campsite where the festivities will commence. What a killer way to finish your day of hiking! Dress up in your costume (unless you were hiking in it all day), have a drink, and enjoy an excellent dinner prepared by your guides.

Hiking information:
The hiking in Pinnacles is unlike anywhere else. The park is home to raptors, bats, caves and interesting rock formations.

Includes:
* 2 full days of guided hiking
* 2 nights of camping, Friday and Saturday
* The following meals: A big Saturday breakfast and dinner, and Sunday breakfast and lunch for those camping
